Review Process Policy
PRISMA uses a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process.
The purpose of peer review is to evaluate originality, scientific contribution, methodological appropriateness, quality of analysis, relevance of results, and clarity of manuscript presentation.
The review stages are as follows:
1. Initial Screening
The editor checks scope fit, administrative completeness, compliance with author guidelines, and manuscript originality.
2. Editorial Assessment
The editor conducts an initial evaluation of the research problem, scientific quality, methodology, and contribution. Manuscripts that do not meet the initial standards may be rejected without external review (desk rejection).
3. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that meet the requirements are sent to at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise.
4. Peer Review
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following aspects:
- Originality and contribution of the research.
- Clarity of the research problem and objectives.
- Quality of the literature review.
- Appropriateness of the research design and methods.
- Validity and reliability of relevant research evidence.
- Accuracy of data analysis and interpretation.
- Quality of the discussion and implications.
- Consistency of the conclusion with the findings.
- Clarity of language and organization of the manuscript.
