Types of Manuscript
PRISMA prioritizes the publication of original research articles in mathematics education.
Proposed manuscript types include:
a. Original Research Article
An article reporting empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. The article must clearly present the research problem, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.
b. Design and Development Research Article
An article reporting the design, development, validation, testing, or evaluation of an educational product in mathematics education, such as a learning model, learning tools, assessment instrument, or learning medium.
c. Systematic Literature Review and Meta-analysis
An article presenting a systematic synthesis of previous studies using transparent procedures for searching, selecting, assessing quality, and analyzing evidence. This manuscript type may be considered in accordance with editorial policy decisions.
All manuscripts must contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in mathematics education.
Conceptual articles or narrative reviews that do not use adequate scientific procedures are not a publication priority.
